Purple Haze Appears in Metaphysical Shop Picture

There's a metaphysical shop in Hollywood, CA called Panpipes Magickal Marketplace whose claim to fame is being the oldest occult shop in the nation and being the location site of many movies and TV shows (like the second Pirates of the Carribean movie, for instance). Although this may not be an orb in the strictest sense of the word, it's fascinating nonetheless and seems to indicate some sort of energetic presence. Since it appears around the image of some sort of deity, I wonder if there's some kind of hidden message here?

By the way, did you know that orbs:

* have been clicked at speeds of up to 500 miles per hour!
*can be photographed not only with digital cameras and video            equipment but with a Smartphone as well.
*have been seen to appear and disappear in torsion fields
*have appeared in Class 7 clean room conditions

Is That Charlie Chaplin's Face in That Orb?

There's an old saying that all the old major movie studios are haunted by movie and TV stars that have passed on. They miss their Hollywood days and come back from time to time to revisit their old "haunts" (sorry, couldn't help myself).

On a recent trip to Warner Bros. studios in Burbank, CA where I used to work I was taking pictures in the backlot where the old "Tarzan" series was once filmed and lo and behold look what shows up in one of the pictures! Is it just me or does it look like there is an image of Charlie Chaplin in that big orange orb? (Make sure you enlarge the photo to see the face).

Wouldn't it be fun to do a ghost hunt on a movie studio lot? Yeah, try getting permission for that one, huh?

Calling in the Spirits

During a rather uneventful paranormal investigation at the I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Austin, TX one night my teammates and I were trying to come up with a way to get some activity going. After a couple of minutes of deliberation I suggested that one of the team members sit amongst the tombstones and then we would ask if there were any spirits in the area to please show themselves by appearing as orbs around the person while the rest of us took photographs. This is what happened...

The reason John has his hands up in the air is because he said he felt as though there was something around him. Looks like he wasn't wrong about that.

Even Dannion Brinkley Has Orb Experiences

Author and speaker Dannion Brinkley who has had two near death experiences that he describes in his book "Saved By the Light" is seen in this photo during a lecture with a large orb in attendance. In his book he talks about beings who showed him visions of the future and discussed his life mission with him. Perhaps this orb is one of those beings?

Orb Shows Up Above A Strange Image on a Tree

I just wanted to share this unusual photo with you that I took on the evening of July 19, 2012 in a park across the street from an old mission that dates back to the 1700s. Do you see the image on the tree that's on the left? I'm not sure what exactly the "being" is on the tree. I'm guessing it's faded graffitti or a natural aging pattern on the tree. It's barely visible when you're actually looking at the tree. In fact, I didn't even notice it until the image showed up in the picture and I walked over and inspected the tree more closely and then I saw it faintly outlined on the tree trunk. It shows up much more vividly here in the second picture than it actually is. What I thought was really interesting is that one orb showed up in this picture...directly above that image. Coincidence or was someone trying to point it out?

James Van Praagh and Orbs

On Saturday, January 7, 2012 I attended medium James Van Praagh's booksigning event at the Mystic Journey bookstore in Venice, CA. James gave a talk but for the exception of one mini reading for someone he didn't do any readings. However, at one point he turned his back to the audience and facing the wall he jokingly commented that spirits were distracting him. I had taken seven pictures of James throughout the time of the talk and was pleasantly surprised to see that orbs showed up in three of the pictures. As you can see below, most of those orbs showed up behind James just where he had felt them! You'll have to enlarge the photos to see the orbs, especially for the first one where the orb appears in the upper left hand corner of the bookcase. It's pretty hard to see but trust me it's there. In the second picture there's an orb at James' lower back and at the top of the painting. The third one is the most impressive one though, don't you think?

Orbs and Matrixing

Last night I was in my office at my computer and being that my camera was nearby, I decided to do some orb experimenting.

The picture you see directly below is a good example of matrixing where the mind tries to find familiar shapes in complex or random shapes and colors. The most familiar example of this is those lazy summer days when you were lying on the grass looking up at the clouds in the sky and imagining they were in the shape of faces, flowers, etc.

I don't know about you, but aside from there being a very bright, large orb in this picture, I distinctly see a man's face facing towards the left. Do you see it? (Click on the picture to enlarge it).

What was also interesting about this picture is that I had taken several photos before this one and didn't get anything showing up. In addition, I had been asking for spiritual energy to show itself specifically on the chair.

However, just before I snapped this picture I was sending loving energy out into the Universe and asking if my doing so could be sensed and if so to please let me know by appearing on the chair.

In all fairness, it should be noted that even though I continued to send out loving energy after I took this photo, I didn't get any more "responses".

Unusual Orbs

I'm just posting a couple of my personal favorite pictures of orbs in this blog.

The purple one was taken outside in bright daylight. Some say you can't catch orbs without a flash and although I can't swear that my flash didn't go off since I wasn't really paying attention, I would assume it didn't since it was pretty bright out and there wouldn't be a need for it to. However, I was standing in the shade of a tree so I suppose it could have discharged. I don't really care, I just think it's pretty.

The other picture is unusual because of the formation. You don't usually catch orb images like that. I like to think of them as angel's wings :o).

Orbs Shape Shifting Into Apparitions

There are reports of people in the paranormal community who have witnessed orbs that have shape shifted into apparitions. Usually there's only a partial manifestation such as just the torso, arms or legs and then after a few moments the apparition shifts back into the shape of orbs.

It gives the impression that it takes a lot of energy for these spirits to manifest themselves. Even then the form can only be held onto for a short period of time before the energy returns to the common orb shape. This coincides with the fleeting nature of most eye witness accounts of ghosts. It seems it takes too much energy to stick around visually for any length of time.

In the picture below it could be argued that the many orbs in the picture must be dust and pollen because the photo was taken outdoors. But what is intriguing about this picture is not the orbs but what appears to be a little boy standing in front of the swing set in the background.

At the time this picture was taken I was not as experienced in investigating as I am now so not only is the picture not very clear (you can enlarge the picture by clicking on it) I also neglected to take a follow up picture to see if the image was still there. However, I have two witnesses that can verify there was no actual little boy standing there nor was there anything resembling a little boy in the area such as a lawn ornament of some kind.

We had also done an EVP session while outside and one of the other investigators got an EVP of a child saying, "Puppy!" which was appropriate since the owner of the property was outside with us at the time with her dog. Not only that, but one of the reports from the owner was that she frequently heard the voice of a small child speaking although she was the only there.

But I'm not really trying to prove or disprove the picture. I simply want to propose a theory. If we can presume that the image of the little boy is in fact a child's spirit could all those orbs in the picture be part of that little boy's spiritual energy or maybe even the child's spiritual guardians there to protect him?

Science has proven that energy can neither be created nor destroyed so where does all that energy go when a person or animal passes on? It has to be somewhere, right? So why not everywhere and anywhere it wants to be? So who says your grandma or Uncle John can't be sitting next to you right this very minute? And who says we can't communicate with them?

Maybe science can't prove that spirits exist but science hasn't been able to prove they don't exist either. So until they can prove or disprove one way or the other I will continue to believe that they do exist.

Can Orbs Be Negative?

In the past I had never given any thought as to whether or not orbs could actually be bad or negative in nature. For some reason, I've always just assumed that if they weren't dust, pollen, etc. then they were positive energy. However, I've had to rethink that position recently based on an experience during an investigation.

My investigation partner Diane and I were walking around the various rooms taking the standard control photos. As we approached the master bath Diane suddenly hesitated and was reluctant to enter that area of the house. She felt there was something negative there and was feeling very uncomfortable about it. If you've read my previous posts you will remember that Diane is psychic so when Diane makes a comment like that, I pay attention.

Diane wouldn't enter the bathroom but I felt it was important to take some pictures if she was feeling that there was something there so I went into the area and started to shoot away.

The first pictures of that area that I took were of the bathroom closet. As you can see, there were some unusual results. These photos were taken one right after the other and are shown here in sequential order.

So the question is, how can we know if the orbs that we are encountering in our photos and videos are positive or negative in nature? Outside of specific feelings we may experience like Diane did, I don't know. The question begs for some sort of experimentation to be conducted to see if an answer can at least be hypothesized.

Orbs Respond to Question About 11:11

People have been reporting the increasing frequency of looking at their watch or clock and it reading 11:11. There's a lot of speculation about what the significance of it could mean but I don't think anyone really knows the answer.

One night I was taking pictures of orbs when I happened to look over at the clock to see what time it was. It was 11:11 p.m. so I said out loud, "If there is truly some spiritual significance to 11:11 is there some way you can communicate that to me?"

Immediately after saying that I took a picture and this is what was captured by the camera. As you can see in this photo, several orbs seemed to have formed a straight line as if signifying the number 1. It's not impossible to see orbs form this way, but it is very unusual for them to do so, so the timing of them configuring like this right after I ask the question about 11:11 is uncanny.

Creating and Sending Orbs With Our Energy

Here's a few pictures I took one night when a friend and I were on the computer talking to each other.

During the course of our conversation we started talking about orbs and I came up with an idea for an experiment to try right then and there. He was game so I suggested that he try to send his energy to me as I sat in my office at my computer. I took a couple of control shots and then at his signal that he was sending his energy, I started to take pictures to see if anything would occur.

By the way, this friend had never been to my house and I had never described what my house looked like to him but what he said was, "I don't know why but I kept seeing a door with glass in it."

I guess some could say it's just a coincidence, but if so, what timing!

More Pictures of Orb Communication

During the investigation that I spoke about in my previous post, Diane worked with a set of Tibetan chimes that she had brought with her. The idea was to see if the orbs would respond to the delicate soothing sound of the bells. We felt they did. What do you think?

In the first picture orbs have gathered near the chimes and one is at Diane's heart.

In the second picture Diane said she felt a beautiful loving presence near her.

Diane then moved into the kitchen. What I like about this one is that an orb is at her heart once again and one seems to be kissing her on her cheek.

Experimenting With Orb Communication

At the end of January my friend Diane and I were doing an investigation at an unoccupied residence. In the control shots that we took upon first arriving, we were getting a lot of orb activity but the house had been sitting empty for several months so we had to take into consideration that the orbs were most likely accumulated dust that would normally settle in an unused house.

However, we noticed that after a while these orbs seemed to be staying in the hallway which seemed unusual since we had long ago settled in so we weren't walking around stirring up dust. The a/c and heat were turned off and all exterior doors and windows were closed so we couldn't determine why there were so many orbs hanging out in the hallway so we decided to do some experimenting to see if we could establish some sort of communication in the event that there was more to these orbs than just dust.

Having conducted several similar experiments in the past I knew there was a good chance that we would be successful in getting something interesting. And sure enough we did.

Diane, who you see in the pictures, is not only a very spiritual person she is also psychic and empathic. In these pictures Diane is asking the spirit energy to come to her hand. These are just a few of the pictures taken that night where Diane seems to have made some sort of contact but don't take my word for it. I encourage everyone to conduct your own experiments. And you don't have to be a spiritual person to get results. Anyone can get similar results with a little practice.

Some orbs ARE indeed energy

There is a lot of controversy out there surrounding the subject of orbs. While some believe that orbs are spiritual in nature most serious paranormal investigators are certain that orbs are nothing more than dust, pollen, or water particles that are being reflected off of the light being emitted from a camera's flash.

I've done a lot of experimentation with orb photography and although I'm still not sure exactly what the phenomenon is all about, I am certain of one thing, many orbs CAN be explained away as dust, pollen or water...but not all.

There have been times where I have experienced what can only be described as a kind of intelligent communication with some orbs. Before you write me off as crazy, I'm not the only one to have had these experiences. Just check out "orbs" on Google or YouTube and you can find many stories of others having similar experiences. For the most part (there's always going to be exceptions), these are sane, grounded, normal people. I have friends who have had the same kind of experiences so either we're all delusional or there's something really happening here.

In future blogs I'll be posting pictures that show what appears to be evidence of this intelligent communication with orbs but for now I want to present my evidence that at least some orbs are energetic in nature.

Look at the picture you see posted here. The orange/red orbs that you see in the picture are NOT dust, pollen, or water. They are orbs of energy. I had taken several pictures before this one and was getting nothing at all. Out of boredom I placed my hand over the flash of the camera and then took a picture. This picture is the result (I took several others the same way with the same result).

As you can see there's a lot of orbs there. Big orbs. Most of them appear at the top of the picture, the same place where the flash of the camera was located. It appears that these orbs are the energy that was created and emitted when the camera flash discharged. The orbs are large because they are very close to the shutter and lens of the camera.

Of course, this doesn't prove that orbs are spiritual, just that some of the orbs we capture in our pictures may indeed be energetic in make up. However, this might bring us one step closer to discovering the truth behind these mysterious orbs. If some orbs are energy based, as clearly some are, then perhaps maybe, just maybe some of those orbs that keep showing up in your pictures truly are spiritual energy.
